I've just asked my son who is 9, what the girls in his class like. He says Nintendogs, Cooking Mama and the new High School musical game. HTHSome good games for Nintendo DS that would be fun for a 9 year old girl?
My sisters 8 and she really loves the nintendogs games. You have a dog and you look after it etc. Also she has a game called Cooking Mama which apparently aslo is very fun!

Everyone loves mario games, so New Super Mario is a safe bet. I think there's a Ratatouille game out too that kids would find fun. And pokemon, everyone loves pokemon
